TV/DVD prewire exist for 06

2004+ Nissan Quest

Hello folks,

New to the forum and happy to be with you all. My wife and I just purchased an 06 SE w/o the tv/dvd package. Of course, I would like to install the OEM tv/dvd system but would like to know if the minivan has existing wiring for this type of task.

Also, the dealership mentioned it is not possible to install the factory system and would have to purchase the after market tv/dvd console.

Which choice is the best to take?

Thanks!

Jason

97 Quest Vehicle Speed Sensor

1993 - 1998 Nissan Quest

I bought a new speed sensor for my 97 Quest and tried to get the old one out. The old one will not come out with gentle tapping, pliers, etc. I don't want to get too aggressive and crack the tranny housing. Other than soaking it with WD-40 for a few days, is there anything else I should try, or anything else I should be aware of?

Finally ditched PAX!

Wheel and Tire

I know that many of you are suffering this same dilemma.

After months of struggling to replace my prematurely bald PAX tires (worn on the sides at about 24K miles) I decided to scrap the plan and replace with after market wheels and tires.

Here's the longer story.

I lease a 206 SE with NAV so by default it comes with PAX tires. At around 24K miles the tires were worn out near the sides. Centers still okay but needed replacement. I spoke to Nissan service center and they said new tires would be about $1200. I almost Sh1t my pants. They told me that since they did not have the PAX equipment they would send the entire wheel/tire combo to Michelin and get all new back. I decided to do some investigation.

'04 Quest SE parting out or for sale. Hit from behind. Runs and drives.

Classifieds

ATTENTION PLEASE: I have received and offer for the entire vehicle which I am very likely to accept. Of course details are still being worked out, so if it falls through, I'll post accordingly. Thanks.

Gray '04 SE, DVD system, Leather, Sky View, 5spd. Auto

Parting out. Everything for sale. If you want the whole thing, it is still road legal, inspected and registered, and drives as nicely as it ever did. The only difference is that the hatch window is out and the passenger rear door stays open about half an inch, so the wind noise has increased a bit.

Assuming no one wants the whole thing, I will take the remainder to the local salvage yard, where the prices will be jacked up and most of it will go to waste. Let's cut some deals on this stuff before I have to get it out of my driveway. Good usable parts include:

Time to replace my PAX wheels... What did you get?

2004+ Nissan Quest

Hi everyone...Well, it's been about 48k miles on my PAX and they're ready to go on me. My front tires have worn thru the first layer of rubber on the corner walls and are beginning to peel off towards the center. Yup, been taking those freeway on/off-ramps pretty hard. Imagine, I still haven't hit the wear markers yet...

Anyways, I've decided to switch to 17" rims and have been wondering what everyone else has switched to in terms of:

- Did you go with OEM specs -- wheel: 17x6.5, 40mm offset -- tires: 225/60-17
- Or did you go with larger/wider wheels and tires? If so, did it affect the handling/ride?

98 QUEST AC/HEATER BLOWER FUSE LOCATION?

1993 - 1998 Nissan Quest

My blower quit blowing. It was working and next time I tried to turn it on it didn't work. Rear blower does work but not the front.

Where is the fuse or the relay that powers the front blower is my question?

Thanks
