my stereo won't turn on..cansomebody help me?
i have a 05 nissan quest base with oem dvd player.all of the sudden my stereo won't turn on and all i'm hearing is that ejecting sound from the cd player.it keep ejecting when i start my car and it will not stop until i press the eject button.Do i need to replace my cd player or do i need to reset it and how?please help..thank you in advance..

i have an 04 quest and am having the same problem. i took the front bezel assembly apart, disconnected all wiring harnesses from rear of cd unit and reconnected them. the system seemed to reboot itself and function properly. after about an hour, the system made a loud 'POP' noise through the speakers and the system shut down again while the cd player was continuously ejecmade a continuous ejecting sound. i isolated the problem to the wiring harness' having too much pressure against them and i believe they are grounding themselves and cutting out the power. until the system is rebooted it will not function properly. i am about to take the bezel apart again and will upload photos when i do.
