timing chain 2006 nissan quest

I had to have my timing chain replaced recently on my Nissan Quest, a 2006 with about 90,000 miles. I do regular maintenance, so was surprised when this was the diagnosis, and SHOCKED at the $2000 bill! Any one else with similar problem?
