I HAVE GRINDING NOISE(SOUNDS LIKE GEARS) AFTER ACCELERATING FROM 0-25 AND THEN AGAIN COMES BACK SLOWING DOWN.
DOES ANYONE HAVE IDEA WHAT MAY BE? SHOP RECOMMENDED TRANNY FLUSH, BUT CAN I DRAIN AND THEN ADD BACK. I HEARD DOING FLUSHES CAN CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS. ALSO I HAVE NOTICED THE 4TH DIGIT IN ODOMETER GOES IN AND OUT. CAN THIS BE RELATION? JUST SPENT OVER $400 WITH NEW BRAKES AND ROTORS AND ALIGNMENT.

You may want to have your front wheel bearing checked out, ours started making a strange grinding like noise similar to yours.
I found a new bearing at a nissan oem parts store online for about $80. I replaced it my self, Its a little bit of work to change it,
but way better than paying the dealer $800 to replace it.
