Installing CD changer from 96 Quest GXE to 98 Quest XE

My 98 Quest XE just has a tape player. I have purchased a 6 disc Changer from a 96 Quest. The cables in the back look to be the same until you follow them to the dash & the 96 w/Changer goes into the dash, and not sure from there. The 98 doesn't have a plug for the changer to plug in to it. Any help?
