rotors

happened to my 04. I replaced EVERYTHING (tires, balance, alignment, struts, front pads, front rotors, rear pads...). Turned out it's the rear rotors. Had them turned for $20, and everything smooth now.

Clarify please

I have the same issue with my '04 Quest. It has been balanced and aligned but there is shaking on the steering wheel when going high speeds. How is the rear rotors responsible? The only thing I suspect is due to the bearings wearing out? Otherwise you would experience the shake only during times of braking right?

Thanks!

QUEST SHAKES REALLY BADLY

Does the steering wheel oscillate back and forth? Tires may need to be road force balanced. Check the wheels for damage, perhaps something in your wheel got dinged up.

Did the shaking happen

Did the shaking happen immediately after tire change? Or the new tires ran fine for a period of time and then started vibrating? Whenever you troubleshoot, you always ask the obvious, what has recently changed? Do you feel the whole car shaking or just the front end with the steering wheel? Also is vibration happening at all speed? All these info can help diagnose the problem

i had run over something in the road and popped the rear driver side tire. I replaced that tire and the next time i drove on the freeway is when it started shaking. i then replaced the other tires and had all 4 re-balanced and it still shook. it seems to feel like the whole vehicle is shaking. thanks for any help you can offer.
