replacing center console cover
having a problem replacing this cover. i can not figure out how to remove the shift knob in order to take of the old cover.

remove shifter
To remove, using your bare fingers, grab the square plastic shaft right below the shift knob, and slide it down. Then carefully remove the spring metal clip below the shift knob (don't loose it). Now lift the shift knob straight up.
