As upgrades begin, please post any new features you would like to see on QuestDriver. I will continue to use Drupal, but will be adding and possibly removing some various modules. If there are features you use on other boards and would like to see here, please let me know; chances are they are not too difficult to add!

whining noise

I have a whining noise while my 2005 quest is running im thinkin maybe the wires and plugs need to be changed.its not the tranny cause it does it even in park. any ideas? oh yeah and my cd player does the same cd stuck and clicks. 70,000 miles

I doubt the whining is the spark plugs and wires. As another member posted, the change interval for spark plugs is 105,000 miles.

I would get the whining checked out. There are a couple issues with the 2004-06 Quest engines pertaining to "whining" or "high pitched buzzing" noise coming from the engine. I would have your mechanic take a look at that sooner rather than later.

check engine light come on due to bad O2 sensor

please help my 1997 Nissan Quest had check engine come on about 1 month ago
I took the car to Advance Auto part, they scan the code for bad knock sensor and
bad O2 sensor, so I decided to replaced knock sensor and (2) O2 sensor up stream
and down stream,I still have check engine light I take the car back to Advance
Auto parts for scan code they are telling me is still code 0135 which is O2 sensor
Ban1,I am running out of idea now, so please anybody that have this problem and solved
the problem,please let me know.
