CD Player - beeps

Our CD player has stopped working. When you try to use it, it just 'beeps'. I'm not sure if there are any CD's in it or not.
This is the Quest SE with the Bose stereo.

Cd player problem.

I have same problem as Mark, everything else on the panel works but CD.

Cluster cover broke and this problem started after that.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Maybe the key is that 'trash can' cover...I've not looked but, maybe something has come unplugged. We are just using the DVD player to play CD's until we get it fixed.
