2006 QUEST SE PROBLEMS

Hello, everyone...

I bought this minivan 2 months ago and so far is been a frustrating experience...

1.- Memory seat control didn't work (2 Trips to dealer)FIXED
2.- Defective gas cap (1 trip to dealer)FIXED
3.- Water leaks from roof glass panels (? trips to dealer) just noticed
4.- Steering pulls to the right (? trips to dealer) just noticed

As you can see I'm experiencing all the problems that you talked about here and just in two months...not bad for a $40,000.00 minivan right?

One more thing that is really frustrating for me is that the door locks doesen't lock or unlock automatically while you're driving like my old silhouette did and here is my question for today...

Is there any way to make door locks aim while you're driving or you always have to press the door lock button at the door to make them lock or unlock?

There is something call "auto re-lock time" that is soupossed to re-lock the doors after 1 or 5 minutes but so far is not working or maybe I don't understand the real function of this option.

Could somebody explain how this works please...

Thank's for taking the time to read my post and any help will be appreciated.

Have a good day.

That's what the problem about these auto locks. They easily broke and very sensitive, You just to look on the manual for proper installation and extra care should be applied.

Our Caravan had the auto-lock at 18mph. I considered it a PITA.

Don't know of any way to add it. The auto-lock time you're referring to is, I believe, the amount of time after which the vehicle will re-lock the doors if no one enters. I shut that off, also.

If I may add to this...

I believe the auto-lock what it does is, if you unlock the car via remote, and do not enter it within a specified amount of time, it will relock itself.

I don't believe it was meant to work as an auto-lock once you've entered the car.
