2007 Quest Auto Climate Control Problems

Hi folks. I have a 2007 Quest 3.5SL we bought in January still under warranty. We really like it so far, but have had some weird issues since Saturday and it's at the dealer now.
Saturday weird things started intermittently happening with the automatic climate control:
a) hot day, had just left the house and it was calling for maximum cooling with fan blowing high. then suddenly the fan speed got slower and slower until it finally just stopped altogether. Putting it in manual did not work either. But after stopping/restarting the engine, things went back to normal.
b) dual zone issue: had driver side set on 60, wife had passenger on 75. Her side continued to blow as cold as mine until she raised it all the way to 85 or above.
c) sometimes a/c will only blow cold air with setting on 60. raise it higher to even 65 and it will just blow ambient air.
Again, all of these things are totally intermittent. I sure hope this is something that's been seen before by one of you folks because the dealer just called to let me know that the fan will blow softer/harder when on auto....so I'm thinking they aren't getting it.
Thanks in advance!

Check the other posts -- problem may very well be blocking the air return vent on the right side of the cargo area. I now keep an open gap in front of it when travelling and have not seen the issue return.

2007 Quest Auto Climate Control Problems - ALSO
Hi, did you get any resolution on this? We have a 2007 Quest that we bought used from Carmax in October, still under warranty (extended from Carmax) and we've had your issue a) several times. We have also had the fan start blowing full speed, and nothing we do able to change it. The last couple of times either of these happened, restarting the car solved the problem (one of the times it happened i had to jam on the brakes suddenly, when we got going again, the fan just totally died; restarting solved it).
We have had variations of your b & c (we don't have the temperature settings), the ac goes totally out and nothing brings it back including restarting the engine - except letting it sit off for some time.
We had it at carmax for the maintenance last week and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. This was not totally surprising to me because from another vehicle I owned, the dealer would only check the controls were functioning and temperature was ok and if it was, they wouldn't look any further (bring it in when it is broken they say).
hoping your dealer found something or... you did... or someone else has an idea experience that could help...
thanks

2007 Quest Climate Control Problem - Front blower failure
I had the same problem with my 2007 Quest with the manual AC, after doing the shoubleshooting in the service manual (i have it), I found the root cause, the Front Air control, located at the front console stop sending voltage to the variable blower control, so now I just have to replace this part with I do not know how mucj it will cost... I am getting tired of having parts failing in my quest 2007 with only 33,000 miles. I found a number of the unit that I need to replace in case that someone needs it in a future, the part number is VP7NAH-19989-AE. I have picture of it too. I hope this information can help someone else. Regards
