Engine coolant for 2004 Nissan Quest

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me the correct specification of engine coolant for this engine? The manual is of no help - recommending you use 'genuine Nissan products or equivalent'.

The only thing I could learn from the Owner's Manual is the dilution ratio with clean water.

coolant chart

This coolant chart from Zerex is the "bible" I use. You don't have to use Zerex products, just locate the formula on the chart and use either the Zerex product, or the equivalent product from another manufacturer.

You can use Prestone Universal extended life coolant. It's guaranteed compatible with all coolant. I think only cost a $1 more per gallon than the normal green coolant.

It's the only coolant my mechanic uses.
