"the tire place did not

"the tire place did not initialize the sensors in the tires. The xxx means there are no readings coming from the sensors. When you change the tires they have to be what we call "woken up" I would contact the tire place, most places have the ability to do this. If they do not then you will have to visit the dealer to do this."

"what they use is an actual "wand" device that they go around the vehicle waving this damn thing around the wheel to pick up the frequency then they plug it back into the OBDII connector under the dash. "

RE: 2006 Quest TPMS

You shouldn't have to reset the TPMS. make sure your tires are inflated to 35 psi (cold).

TPMS

Inflate yor tires about 8 to 10 over the PSI. Drive for a few blocks up to a mile. That should reset it. Thats what worked for me. Also I had the tire place under inflate, so it caused the sensors to not reset and display low tire pressure.
