2007 quest rear backup switch light stays on off
My rear backup switch that turns the rear sensors on or off is stuck in the off position. The switch works fine. I checked the rear sensors and there is no visual damage. Acoording to the owners manual, when uyou turn the car on it automaticly goes to the on position. It was working fine when I came home from work, but on start up the next morning the light stays in the off position. Does antbody have any idea what it is. My car just went out of warranty. Thanks

I have the same problem, brought it into the dealer and the code said the switch is bad, even though it works intermittently. I will try to change it myself, looks not too difficult once you remove the panel in front of it. It's $63 at the dealer plus $230 for labor if you want to pay. I'll let everyone know how it goes.....

I have the same issue...but the switch doesn't work intermittently...it's always showing off.
I've been told that it could be the rear sonar speaker as well. How can you tell if it's the speaker or the switch. Just wondering how yours turned out.
If I had all the money I've spent on cars....I'd spend it on cars!
